Id love some smart advice on my job?

Im a night audit for a timeshare. Besides needing more money and not wanting to work nights anymore, I also wanted to know where i could go with my job. My fiance said ';ask your manager how she became manager!'; So i was going to, then i heard from the grapevine that they need a new supervisor! So i called my manager and she thinks its a great opportunity to re-apply for the position. I was wondering, i have to write something as to why i would make a good manager and also i have to do a few interviews! I need advice, what should i say to make me be a great supervisor? What sounds convincing? And should i be honest and admit that i need more money and would like higher experience??Id love some smart advice on my job?
Every company or employer wants to hear you say 'I want to learn, I feel I can make a difference for the better within this Company and I will be a reliable backbone of my employer'. Tell them you can and have worked as a team and you are keen to find out all facets of this new position. Good luck. Id love some smart advice on my job?
Part of being a good manager is being able to handle most situations. Do some searching about managers. Look up the job descriptions. Then asses your strengths and weaknesses. I have always been honest in my interviews. Sometimes it has cost me the job, I knew it probably would. The ones that really count will figure out your strengths. So you want to lie about something and have them figure it out later.? That doesn't sound like a good manager. Years ago I never would have brought up money in an interview. Nowadays, I ask them about it before I even go to an interview. some of them have understood (';yes, there is no sense wasting both our time if you can't afford to work for these wages';). Be straight up front. You may get a job easier by sugarcoating it but is that the way you work?

Good Luck!!!!
