Why is moving on from your first love so hard to do? Any advice on how to do it?

Only time can do it. Rome wasn't built in a day! Try to focus on other things in life, have fun, enjoy life. There are many trees in the forest! (men=trees) There isn't really a good answer. Do things that really pleases you, take a walk in the park, relax. Listen to your favorite songs, read a book, I know that when I try to forget my love, I focused on the other aspects of life and after a month I think about him a couple times and after years, once in a while.Why is moving on from your first love so hard to do? We think we're never going to feel that way again, but believe me, there's nothing like a new love to help you get over your old one. Remember why it ended in the first place...it wasn't working out, which means it would never have worked out. go out with as much chicks as u can.. pretty ones better, they help you forget :)

Yes. The way I was able to move on from my first love was my friends and family. They will be your strongest support system in the world...family and friends are there to listen and take your mind off a bad situation. Eventually you will find yourself happy and dating again...possibly finding your true love along the way :-)

well if your ex has told you its over, you should take that as a closure to the relationship. I've had to do it and it took me 3 years to finally get over him enough to move on, but im still hooked on him. But it takes some people more time than others.
it took me 2 years to do and it was all for the better know she wants me back but i know there is someone better out there. you just have to keep on keepin on!
