Advice needed on this love situation please?

I've been in love with guy friend for over a year now. Even though he lives far from me..in another country as we had to move shortly after we met, we still chat now and again. He used to flirt (even said he was falling for me once) and we even met once and kissed. We never talked about this as we had to return to our homes quickly afterwards. I invited him to visit and he said he will once he gets free time (he has a huge school load). the thing is, I'm so scared to bring up the feelings with him as we don't chat much..once every couple of wks. So I'm not relying on him coming over and am trying to blank him out by talking to another guy who is really into me %26amp; this one wants to visit %26amp; date me. I know this is crazy but I want to settle down and know the one I'm mad about has yrs of study..that's the thing, I'm lots older. What should I do? I'm in torture as my heart is with him but maybe I'm a dreamer and too romantic. Please help me, I need solid advice.Advice needed on this love situation please?
