Advice on loving myself?

I was just watchin Tyra and its an all black episode. They're talkin about how black women are so confident and fearless. Is it really possible to be like that!? I kno there are people that love themselves.... so ite obviously possible.. But how do I get there??? What are the steps a person needs to take to really love, respect, and carry themselves well?? Have confidence, high self esteem? How do ya achieve this!?Advice on loving myself?
Well, what I know is that we are born good. We are born with dignity and respect. Since the world began and until it ends there will not be anyone like you. The print that you leave on life is like no other. You will never know how many people and things you will affect and change for eternity. How special can you be! Walk tall knowing that you are here to make life better for yourself and for others. Any thing you do makes a change in the life force. That is powerful. Just by asking this question you have changed my life. We are not perfect, not by a long shot, but we do have will, the will to do good, that is the one big step that one takes to love oneself. Know that you are loved, you are never alone, you are special, you are good, dignifed. Who you are is different from what you do. Look in the mirror and remember to say, Hey, I am loved, I am special because I count. I will make a difference to everyone and to everything. I will appreciate the goodness and specialness of others because they too have a special print on life. What a beautiful and powerful world we live in. God bless you! It starts with how you view yourself and knowing whether or not the view of yourself is manipulated by how you think other people percieve you. What other people think of you is not important. You have to say to yourself, ';their opinion of me is none of my business.'; Once you figure out how you and you alone see yourself can you begin to respect and love who you are.
I wish I had all the answers, I don't. I also seek some of the same things as you have described as goals. In the process I have developed a method that seems to work for me. My suggestion to you is to choose the single biggest thing you want to accomplish and work on accomplishing it, then move to the next and so forth until you become the person you want to be and generate the significance that your life can create.
